This is not AutoChess. For sure. All similarities are coincidental.
In Notto Chess, there is a global deck of "cards". Each player starts with an empty deck. Each round consists of a Buy phase, a Resolution phase, and a chance to Review the round before continuing to the next. Players "buy" cards with their currency from a set of cards dealt to them from the global deck. This means each card and type has a scarcity associated with it. All purchased cards get added to the player's deck. Once the Buy phase ends, players are randomly pitted against another player. The players' decks are arranged by the player in the Buy phase and then played against each other in order during the Resolution phase. Each card type has certain characteristics that can cause them to win or lose. Once the deck is resolved, the player who has cards left gets points for winning. Losers lose HP. Streaks add points (unimplemented). Lose streaks can generate extra currency (unimplemented). Last player with HP above zero wins!
